  Duncan was great! We currently have very complicated finances due to owning 2 other homes that are now rentals, some huge losses on my last few years of taxes for those rentals, and a significant portion of my income that’s consulting work which is usually harder for banks to count on as income. If you need some very “creative financing,” Duncan is the man to do it for you! He was always available, even on holidays and weekends. For example, I sent him a non-urgent email on Thanksgiving and had to insist that he wait until the next day to respond because it could wait! I was speaking with other loan agents at the same time, and Duncan was by far the most creative in finding all sorts of work-arounds to get us into the home we wanted, and was even able to say yes to the price points of homes that really, really, stretched our budget. I didn’t think some of the things we were asking for were possible, but from him I never heard anything but yes. My only caution about Duncan’s office is to be careful about the details. His staff was very proactive with good communication, but I often found mistakes in the paperwork, and one of their mistakes cost us 2 additional days before we could close (a misspelling of my husband’s middle name in some of the documents), which meant that we had to do quite a bit of rescheduling for movers, carpet cleaners, etc. Still, overall Duncan and his team were excellent, and I’m not sure anyone else would have been able to get us into our new home as quickly. The requirements for the paperwork that his team requested was minimal compared to what I’m used to having to provide, and everyone was very pleasant and professional. Don’t hesitate to getting a quote from Duncan, especially if your financial situation is tricky. He made the process easy for us. Thank you Duncan, Stacey, Robin, and the rest of the AnnieMac team!
