  First off it gets crowded so unless you show up before 11am and wait for them to open expect to spend a minimum of one hour waiting. They play the most horrible sex ed videos so bring your video player while you are waiting for your number to be called. The receptionist is kind of clueless when you go there so here's the deal on anonymity: HIV test you don't have to show your ID but the other ones you do. You CAN ask for two different test cards at the same time, but she doesn't like this and probably won't do it for you so just wait until you talk to the staff who are actually giving the test because they are pretty cool about it. The actually testing goes really fast where you pee in a cup and they draw some blood. I think they have alternatives for the blood draw if you're squeemish. They do ask some personal questions about who you've bumped uglies with over the past year and how many times you used protection, etc. Results take about two weeks so you have plenty of time to work yourself into a pleasant state of denial. At least the testing is free... Just remember to wrap it up next time and you won't have to go through this again. I wish I had. (sigh)
